Privacy Policy

TapNest is operated by NetNest Design LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Last updated September 7, 2026.

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross context behavioural advertising, and we do not hand visitor data to third parties for their own marketing.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW WE USE IT

To deliver and support the product: resolving taps, showing tap counts to the business that ordered the card, at its request or at tapnestcards.com/account, fulfilling orders, answering support, and protecting the site from abuse and infringement. Nothing else. The account page shows counts only. No individual tap record is shown to anyone, ever; it is aggregated before it reaches a page.

WHERE IT GOES

We use service providers to run the product: hosting and the database, payment processing, and email delivery. They process data on our instructions only. We disclose information to law enforcement when the law requires it, or to preserve evidence in an abuse or infringement matter.

YOUR RIGHTS BY STATE

We apply the strictest United States state privacy standard to everyone, whatever state you are in. That includes residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and every other state with a comprehensive privacy law. You may ask us to:

Email abuse@tapnestcards.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

COOKIES

We use no advertising cookies and no third party analytics. Tap counts come from our own database, not from a tracking service. Two session cookies exist and neither is used for anything but the session it names: the admin panel sets one, only for the site owner, and the account page sets one for a customer who signed in with a link. The account cookie ends after 2 hours without use, or 24 hours at most, and signing out removes it.

RETENTION

Tap records are kept for as long as the card is in service, because they are the product. Sign in link records are deleted 24 hours after the link expires, which is 15 minutes after it was sent. Security and evidence records are kept while a matter is open. Records of deletion requests are kept for three years, as California law requires.

CHILDREN

TapNest is sold to businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
